Content Writer/Editor

We are currently seeking a talented Content Writer/Editor to join our marketing team. This individual will play a crucial role in creating and refining a diverse array of content, including ebooks, case studies, whitepapers, sales collateral, web content, press releases, lead nurture emails, newsletters, one-pagers, and blogs. The successful candidate will ensure that our content is engaging, consistent with our brand voice, and optimized for SEO.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and edit high-quality content across various formats and channels, aligning with our brand voice, style, and tone.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to produce impactful content that meets the needs of our target audiences.
  • Apply SEO principles to all aspects of content creation, from keyword research to content optimization, to improve visibility and search engine rankings.
  • Report to director of marketing to align content strategies with overall marketing goals.
  • Follow the editorial calendar per marketing director, ensuring timely publication of content across all platforms.
  • Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to ensure content is informative, accurate, and current.
  • Edit and proofread content from other team members or contributors to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends in content marketing, SEO, and digital marketing to continuously improve our content strategy.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and projects as needed, adjusting priorities according to the company's evolving needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional command of the English language, with outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience in content writing, editing, or copywriting, preferably within our industry.
  • Familiarity with web design basics, content management systems, and SEO tools.
  • A solid understanding of SEO and content marketing strategies.
  • Creative ability to produce original content that engages the target audience.
  • Strong research skills and the capability to write about complex topics clearly and compellingly.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong fact-checking skills to ensure content accuracy and reliability.
