Digital Marketing Manager

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for executing the company's digital marketing strategy while also creating, refining, and managing content across various formats. This role combines strategic digital marketing initiatives with hands-on content creation and development, ensuring that all marketing efforts align with the company’s goals and brand voice.

This position is located in Middletown, Delaware.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. All efforts will follow the strategic direction and plans set by the Vice President of Marketing, with the expectation to develop new ideas that support and strengthen that vision as well.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and design, to create marketing materials that address the needs of our target audience.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and management of the company’s social media strategy, with a strong focus on LinkedIn; create and maintain a comprehensive social media content calendar, develop platform-specific content, and monitor performance metrics to drive engagement and brand visibility. Experience with LinkedIn Ads is a plus.
  • Develop and nurture the company’s online community, engaging with followers, and creating strategies for community growth.
  • Execute content initiatives in alignment with the editorial calendar set by the Vice President of Marketing, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and support broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Write, edit, and manage high-quality content—including ebooks, case studies, whitepapers, sales collateral, web content, press releases, lead nurture emails, newsletters, one-pagers, and blogs—with a strong focus on messaging and brand voice.
  • Produce, edit, and proofread content written by you and other team members or contributors to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Assist with all trade show logistics and administration as necessary, including trade show planning, exhibitor registrations, booth execution, deadline tracking, vendor coordination, and maintaining all required backend information; ensure post-event follow-up with team by collecting internal notes and performance details.
  • Apply SEO best practices to improve the visibility and performance of both digital marketing campaigns and content creation efforts, from keyword research to content optimization.
  • Manage the company’s email marketing efforts, including campaign planning, content creation, list segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Stay current with industry trends in digital marketing, content creation, and SEO to continuously enhance the company's digital strategy.
  • Conduct in-depth research on relevant industry topics to ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and informative.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude with a strong willingness and ability to learn new skills, develop creative ideas, and adapt quickly to changing priorities and challenges.
  • Support cross-functional team efforts by willingly assisting with various company tasks and projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and strategy development, preferably within the industry.
  • Strong command of the English language, with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Solid understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and other digital marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, HubSpot, and social media management platforms.
  • Ability to create engaging content across various formats and platforms that aligns with brand voice and resonates with the target audience.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to produce innovative marketing campaigns and content ideas.
  • Experience supporting or managing trade show and event operations, including trade show research, exhibitor coordination, deadline tracking, document management, and post-event follow-up and reporting.
  • Highly collaborative, solutions-oriented team player with strong written and verbal communication skills who works effectively across departments and proactively engages internal and external partners to keep projects moving forward.
  • Attention to detail and strong research skills to ensure content is both accurate and compelling.
  • Ability and willingness to work in-office on a full-time basis, collaborating closely with team members in a fast-paced environment; this role does not offer remote or hybrid work options.
